Recommendations
Whether you spend an evening, a week-end or a week, there are some places that you shouldn't miss. We list here the best spots (restaurants, visits...) around us.
One day :
If you don't arrive too late, make a stop in Gerberoy. Otherwise, make sure to go there the next day. Labelled "One of the most beautiful villages in France" and located only 15 minutes from us, we are sure you won't regret it. Not far from Gerberoy, the Saint-Germer-de-Fly abbey is also worth a visit.
Do you want to know more about "The Pays de Bray"? Then you should do it in Solex or in 2CV. It's in Blacourt and it's extraordinary (really!)
In the evening, why don't you try La Table de Laurent? It's only 5 minutes from our house.
Two days :
Once a thermal city, Forges-les-Eaux is worth a visit. Make a stop for lunch at the 235, excellent restaurant in Forges. A bit further, Lyons-la-Forêt is another village labelled as "one of the most beautiful villages in France". Only a few kilometres from Lyons is a village which name is Ry. The village inspired Flaubert when he wrote his famous novel, Madame Bovary.
Every Saturday, at 3.30pm, you can visit la Brasserie Northmaen's caves. It's very interesting. If you like whiskey and beer, you shouldn't miss it.
